CRCST pass rate: 65.6% in 2025

The arithmetic

HSPA publishes CRCST pass and fail counts, not a pre-rounded percentage. For 2025 the counts are 10,083 passed and 5,286 failed. 10,083 divided by 15,369 is 65.6 percent. For 2019 the counts are 6,416 passed and 1,873 failed, which is 77.4 percent. Current CRCST holders as of December 31, 2025: 54,525.

These figures describe people who already sat the exam. They are not a personal prediction. A candidate who only studies the smallest domain, patient-care equipment at 5 percent, is practicing the wrong slice of the outline.

Common questions

Where is the table?

HSPA's certification statistics page, myhspa.org/certification/statistics, updated annually. The figures above are as of December 31, 2025.

Does a practice score of 65% mean I am ready?

No. The published pass rate is not the cut score. Use domain-level misses to decide what to study next.
